Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Primary School Teacher (ECT) for Wirral. Roles are flexible, offering short-term or long-term teaching opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Qualified teachers with QTS or equivalent overseas qualification, a fully enhanced DBS, right to work in the UK, and references covering the last two years are required. Daily rate ranges from £120 to £200, dependent on assignment and experience.

• Fully qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent overseas qualification).
• Willingness to cover subjects outside your specialism.
• Hold a fully enhanced DBS (or be able to obtain a new one).
• References covering the last two years with no gaps.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience with EYFS, KS1, or KS2.

Responsibilities

• Teach all areas of the primary school curriculum, including EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment for pupils of all abilities.
• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons effectively, catering to diverse student needs.
• Motivate and challenge pupils through innovative teaching methods.
• Maintain good classroom control and behaviour management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student progress and school initiatives.
• Stay informed about curriculum updates and educational developments.
