Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons in Warwick. The position is full-time, with 8:30am–3:30pm hours, and involves teaching across year groups within the National Curriculum framework.

You will work with teaching assistants, maintain engaging classrooms, and uphold safeguarding standards while building positive relationships with pupils and staff in a range of schools around Warwick.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging pre planned lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school expectations.
• Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning during staff absence.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet needs of pupils with varying abilities, including SEND and EAL learners.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
• Assess pupil understanding and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff to support pupil progress.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.
• Provide clear handover notes on pupil progress and lesson outcomes.

Contract: Full time

Confident and reliable supply Primary teacher with experience delivering high-quality teaching on various assignments across a number of schools in and around Warwick. Skilled in quickly establishing positive relationships with pupils and staff, maintaining continuity of learning, and creating an engaging classroom environment. The role could include both short and long term opportunities, including day to day and termly appointments. Experienced in delivering high quality, engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and ensuring pupils remain motivated and supported throughout temporary placements. Committed to maintaining high educational standards while adapting to the individual needs of each school and class.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an educator who:

• Is adaptable and comfortable working with different year groups and ability levels.
• Can deliver preplanned, engaging lessons across a range of subjects
• Has obtained and maintained QTS
• Has experience working with a range of different Special needs that pupils might face.
• Has a clear understanding of Safeguarding and keeping children safe in education.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences.
• Can build strong, positive relationships with children.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
