Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming infant school in Bingham (NG13). You will plan and deliver creative lessons, create a nurturing classroom, and support pupils with diverse needs while working closely with Teaching Assistants and staff.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, feedback, and fostering curiosity. The school offers outdoor learning opportunities and a positive, inclusive environment to help children reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching the UK primary curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and phonics/early learning development.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour-management skills.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting young learners.
• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Two suitable professional references.

Responsibilities

The role

As the KS1 Teacher, you will:
