TeacherActive Limited is supporting a mainstream Primary School in Rochester, Kent to appoint a dedicated KS1 Teacher for Year 2. The post is full-time, fixed-term, starting immediately and running through August 2027.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver vibrant lessons, differentiate for diverse learning needs, and maintain strong classroom management to drive pupil progress. An enthusiastic, energetic approach is essential.

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS.
• Experience teaching Year 2 in a mainstream primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.
• Excellent planning and ability to differentiate instruction.

Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 per annum

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Rochester, Kent, who are looking to appoint a dedicated KS1 Teacher. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual who can create a welcoming classroom environment where children feel motivated, supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a KS1 Teacher on a full-time, fixed-term basis, starting immediately and continuing until August 2027 through TeacherActive. The successful KS1 Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in Year 2, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of pupils with varying academic abilities whilst maintaining excellent classroom management and supporting pupil progress.

The successful KS1 Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS

• Previous experience teaching Year 2 within a mainstream Primary School

• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 / KS1 National Curriculum

• Excellent planning and lesson delivery skills, with the ability to differentiate learning for varying academic abilities

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• A bubbly, energetic and enthusiastic personality with a passion for helping children achieve their potential
