Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Maesteg is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2 in line with the Curriculum for Wales. This is a short-term/long-term temporary role with an immediate start, on-site work, and part-time hours.

You will have QTS (NQTs welcome), solid classroom management, ability to differentiate lessons, and a positive, adaptable approach. The role offers PAYE pay, supportive consultants, access to CPD, and a referral scheme worth £100.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required or NQTs are welcome to apply.
• Experience teaching within a UK Primary School setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales and primary education.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Primary Teacher

TeacherActive is working with a range of Primary Schools across Maesteg and the surrounding areas to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers for both short-term and long-term opportunities, with immediate starts available.

We are looking for adaptable and motivated Primary Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2, maintain strong classroom management and support pupils of all abilities. Opportunities include day‑to‑day supply, short‑term cover and long‑term placements.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (NQTs are also welcome to apply)
