Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting enthusiastic Primary Teachers for short-term and long-term positions across Maesteg and surrounding areas with immediate starts. You will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Curriculum for Wales and maintain strong classroom management to support pupils of all abilities.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required (NQTs welcome). Roles offer flexible placements and PAYE payroll with market-leading daily rates of £172.98.

TeacherActive is working with a range of Primary Schools across Maesteg and the surrounding areas to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers for both short-term and long-term opportunities, with immediate starts available.

We are looking for adaptable and motivated Primary Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2, maintain strong classroom management and support pupils of all abilities. Opportunities include day-to-day supply, short-term cover and long-term placements.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (NQTs are also welcome to apply)

Experience teaching within a UK Primary School setting

Strong knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales and primary education

Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills

The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
