Job summary

Veritas Education is seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Blackburn, delivering a broad, differentiated curriculum across pupils aged 4-16. The role requires flexibility to teach across primary and early secondary ages within a supportive, inclusive setting.

You will work with TAs and SENCOs, implement EHCP targets, monitor progress, and contribute to CPD training. A calm, nurturing classroom style and an enhanced DBS are expected; QTS/QTLS is essential.

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS required.
• Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN.
• Strong understanding of ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties.
• Ability to deliver across multiple subjects and adapt teaching effectively.
• Calm, nurturing approach and strong classroom management.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
