Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting a dedicated Primary Teacher to lead a Year 3 class on a full-time, long-term basis. The role starts after October half term in a 2-form entry primary school in Chorlton rated Good by Ofsted.

You will plan and deliver lessons aligned to the Primary Curriculum, manage the class effectively and ensure strong progress for pupils. QTS (ECTs welcomed) and UK KS2 experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Knowledge of the KS2/Primary Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 3 lessons.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher to teach a Year 3 class on a full-time, long-term basis starting after October half term. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Primary Curriculum, maintaining strong classroom management and supporting pupils to make excellent progress.

Requirements

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Primary teaching experience in the UK
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2 is desirable
• Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
