Job summary

Stafflex Education is seeking flexible Primary Teachers for Huddersfield and Kirklees. Roles include day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and longer-term placements.

Deliver engaging lessons, work across EYFS to KS2, maintain classroom management, and ensure continuity for pupils. DBS and UK teaching status required. Competitive daily rates and strong support from Stafflex.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent
• Recent UK primary teaching experience
• Knowledge of EYFS/KS1/KS2 curriculum
• Enhanced DBS Update Service (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Take on day-to-day cover across local primary schools
• Work across different year groups and classroom environments
• Deliver pre-planned lessons or use your own creativity where appropriate
• Create a positive and inspiring learning environment
• Maintain effective behaviour management to support pupil progress
• Work closely with school staff to ensure pupil continuity

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools
• Good knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A flexible, proactive and professional approach
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
