Primary Teacher (KS1)

About the role

Connex Education is working with a number of mainstream primary schools based in the Hartlepool area who use regular cover for Primary Teachers. This can be full time, part time, or ad hoc days to suit the availability you have and working in KS1.

About the schools

As a Primary Teacher with Connex you will be working with schools around Hartlepool. Many of which are part of a large education trust, these schools pride themselves on aspiration, inspiration, collaboration and celebrating, creating nurturing environments that enable children to be successful learners. As a Primary Teacher, you will be covering classrooms, PPA and also working with small groups.

Assignment Details

There are opportunities for Primary Teachers with Connex for immediate cover work available until the summer and full time and part time roles available immediately. We have work to suit those looking for 2-4 days per week or full time work for either day-to-day, short term or long term cover.

Person Specification

• Qualified Teaching Status
• Experience of teaching pupils in a primary school setting
• Confidence in covering and teaching a full classroom
• Good knowledge of EYFS/KS1 or KS2 curriculum
• Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one with Connex
