Salary: £150 - £230 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:

As a Primary Teacher, you will lead a class of enthusiastic learners, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum designed to support academic, personal, and emotional development. You will be instrumental in creating a stimulating classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and encouraged to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and respectful classroom environment.
  • Use formative and summative assessment to inform planning and monitor progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support holistic development.
  • Promote children s social and emotional well-being through strong pastoral care.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Requirements for the Primary Teacher role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • A child-centred approach and commitment to inclusive education.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education).
