Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting enthusiastic Primary Teachers to work across a range of Halifax primary schools from September 2026. We welcome Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners alike, offering long-term opportunities with permanent potential and competitive pay.

Successful candidates will have QTS and strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, with excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within Primary education.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Passionate about helping children reach their potential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Monitor, assess and record pupil progress.
  • Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive behaviour strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.

Primary Teacher

Location: Halifax
Start: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential for permanent placement)

Milk Education is recruiting enthusiastic and committed Primary Teachers to work across a range of welcoming Primary schools in Halifax from September. We are looking for teachers who are passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
