Job summary

Heart of Supply is seeking Primary Teachers in Gainsborough and across Lincolnshire to join our Guaranteed Pay Scheme for the 2026/27 academic year. You will teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, covering day-to-day and short-term requirements while remaining flexible across your agreed days.

Qualifications

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent UK primary teaching experience.
• Minimum of 6 weeks UK teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 as required.
• Cover day-to-day and short-term teaching needs with consistency.
• Follow pre-set lesson plans while bringing creativity and energy to the classroom.
• Establish and maintain a positive learning environment with strong behaviour management.
• Build rapport with pupils and staff and communicate effectively with schools.

Primary Teacher - Guaranteed Pay Scheme
Location: Gainsborough, Lincolnshire
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Flexible, day-to-day, short-term and long-term roles.
Salary: £125-£145 per day, pro-rata (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)

You'll have the opportunity to work with local primary schools across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, covering day-to-day and short-term teaching requirements while remaining flexible across your agreed working days.

Subject to the terms of the scheme, you'll benefit from guaranteed pay on your agreed available days, even when suitable work isn't available.

What you will need:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience in a UK primary setting
• A nurturing, flexible teaching approach with the ability to connect quickly with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management rooted in positive reinforcement
• The ability to follow pre-set work while bringing your own creativity and energy to the classroom
• Clear communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff alike
• A minimum of 6 weeks teaching experience in the UK
