Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to support children with special educational needs at our Coventry-area schools. You will plan and deliver inclusive lessons, monitor progress, and work closely with specialist staff to raise self-esteem and achievement.

Applicants should hold QTS and have prior experience in SEND settings. The role offers a supportive environment, school holidays, and opportunities to grow within a growing Trust.

Qualifications

• A recognised teaching qualification with QTS.
• Experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Ability to engage and support learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder and SEMH.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture pupils with SEND, including ASD and SEMH needs.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual progress.
• Collaborate with in-house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapists.

We are proud to announce our plans to expand the Secret Garden school opening in the Autumn of 2026. This will take the form of a purpose-built, state-of-the-art primary campus and will cater for up to 40 pupils with a wide range of needs, including autism and social, emotional, and mental health needs. This exciting new opportunity will continue to serve Coventry and the wider communities and will further enhance the first-class service that the Secret Garden has always delivered.
