Job summary

Witherslack Group is hiring a passionate teacher for Ashbrooke School in the North East. You will work with children and young people with ASD, SEMH, and other SEND needs, helping them learn, grow and raise their self-esteem. A supportive in-house team and specialist resources will back you every step of the way.

  • Previous teaching experience in SEND settings is desirable.
  • Experience delivering lessons to children with ASD/SEMH/SLCN is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver lessons to pupils with SEND and help develop abilities and self-esteem.
  • Support pupils' learning in a specialist SEND environment with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with school staff and therapy professionals to plan lessons and progress.
