Job summary

Witherslack Group in Manchester is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teacher to support pupils with Autism/SEN needs, KS2/KS3 focus and strong classroom management. You’ll help learners develop confidence, resilience and academic progress.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching pupils with SEN and complex needs.
• Ability to create inclusive lesson plans for KS2/KS3.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS2/KS3 pupils with autism and SEMH needs.
• Plan lessons, track progress and adapt to individual needs.
• Collaborate with therapists, TA and psychology teams.

Opening in September 2026, Bowersgate School is a purpose built, brand new, state of the art school. The school will cater for up to 72 pupils aged 6 - 16 with a wide range of needs including autism and social, emotional and mental health needs. This new exciting opportunity serves Wythenshawe and the wider communities, you are at the heart of its development.
