Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Chorley for the 2026/2027 academic year. The role is a maternity cover starting from October half term.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, assess pupil progress, support social and emotional development, and work closely with staff, parents, and carers to uphold safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Proven experience teaching in primary schools.
• Excellent curriculum knowledge across KS1/KS2.
• Strong organisational and communication skills; safeguarding commitment.
