Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Primary Teacher for a new long-term position near Chester. The role involves teaching a mixed Reception and Year 1 class at a small primary school on the outskirts of Chester, with SLT support to ensure a smooth transition in the new academic year.

The post is full-time and ongoing up to October half-term with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have experience, DBS arranged, and eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proof of Right to Work (passport or birth certificate).
• A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
• A fully enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to process one (DBS cost refunded).

Responsibilities

• Teach a mixed class of Reception and Year 1 with a focus on creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to ensure a smooth transition into the new academic year.
• Hit the ground running and contribute to delivering high-quality teaching and learning across the school.
