TeacherActive Limited. is partnering with a mainstream Primary School in Eastwood, NG16, to recruit a dedicated Primary Teacher for a full-time long-term role in Year 5. ASAP start through July 2027, with responsibilities across planning, teaching, and assessment.

The successful candidate will have QTS (ECTs welcome), KS2/Year 5 experience, and a strong grasp of the Primary National Curriculum, supported by robust classroom and behaviour management skills.

Qualifications

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Eastwood, NG16, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher. The school is seeking a confident and adaptable individual who can establish clear expectations, build positive relationships with pupils and create a structured learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from ASAP until July 2027, working within a Year 5 classroom. The successful Primary Teacher will take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, managing challenging behaviours and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2, ideally Year 5
• Experience managing challenging behaviours within a mainstream primary classroom
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management strategies
• A confident, resilient and adaptable approach to teaching
