Job summary

Supply Desk is recruiting Primary supply teachers to fill day-to-day, short-term and long-term bookings across primary schools in the Andover area. You will deliver classroom cover, mark children’s work and help maintain a high standard of education with strong classroom management and a solid knowledge of the National Curriculum.

Starting ASAP for Autumn Term 2026, the role offers 8am–3:30pm hours and pay rates of £140–£160 per day.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching throughout primary schools.
• QTS required.
• Current DBS registered on the update service or willing to apply.

Responsibilities

• Mark children’s work and provide feedback.
• Maintain a high standard of education under the National Curriculum.
• Ensure consistency in the classroom and strong pupil progression.

Job description

Primary supply teachers – Andover

Pay –£140 - £160

Hours - 8am – 3.30PM Temporary – Autumn Term 2026

Start – ASAP

Your role as a Primary supply teacher would be filling day to day, short-term and even long-term bookings throughout primary schools in the Andover area. You would not be planning, assessing or attending staff meetings but would be expected to mark children’s work and ensure consistency within the classroom, ensuring that pupils receive a consistently high standard of education. You will need excellent classroom management skills and a thorough knowledge of the current National Curriculum. You will encourage positive pupil development and monitor pupil’s progression
