Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is sourcing passionate Primary Teachers for supply work across Sutton and South London. You’ll gain varied experience in one-form to four-form entry schools with flexible hours and locations. Start times around 8:15am, with support from a dedicated consultant.

Ideal candidates hold QTS, are flexible and dependable, and can manage classrooms effectively across EYFS to KS2. Suitable for ECTs seeking balance and regular bookings; pay is competitive and weekly via PAYE.

What to expect as a Supply Teacher

• Deliver engaging lessons using the absent teacher's planning.
• Supervise and support pupils throughout the school day, including lessons, break times and lunchtime where required.
• Maintain excellent classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
• Complete day-to-day teaching responsibilities, including registers, assemblies and other routine duties.
• Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment whilst following all safeguarding and health & safety procedures.

Pay

Pay£155 per day minimum for Early Career Teachers.£160-£165 per day for Fully Qualified Teachers.The top end of the pay scale is generally offered to teachers willing to travel beyond their preferred distance discussed during registration.

• Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS (ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply).
