Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a caring and flexible Primary Supply Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Scunthorpe. Your Key Tasks and Duties:

• Leading engaging and easy-to-understand lessons for children in different primary year groups.
• Quickly adjusting to new classrooms and following each school’s unique approach.
• Creating a positive, safe, and welcoming environment where every student feels supported.
• Keeping students on task and promoting good behaviour throughout lessons.
• Becoming the trusted teacher schools reach out to when they need extra support.

Candidate Expectations:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a similar teaching qualification.
• Experience working in primary schools, including Early Years, KS1, or KS2.
• Someone with a passion for helping children grow, learn, and succeed.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to work well with both students and staff.
• Quick to build positive relationships with children and colleagues alike.
• A CV that reflects your experience over the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).
