Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking confident Primary Supply Teachers and ECTs to work across EYFS–KS2 in Merseyside, including Liverpool. Flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements offered with competitive daily pay rates and dedicated consultant support.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent, with proven classroom management and safeguarding knowledge. You’ll adapt to varied schools, maintain continuity of learning and provide end-of-placement feedback.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching across primary year groups (EYFS–KS2).
• Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively and confidently.
• Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to quickly build rapport with pupils.
• A professional, reliable, and positive approach to supply teaching.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS to KS2, ensuring learning objectives are met.

About the Role

We are seeking confident and adaptable

Primary Supply Teachers and ECT's to work across

EYFS-KS2 in a variety of primary schools across Merseyside. This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about education, highly flexible, and have

strong behaviour management skills. It is preferred that you have knowledge/experience of working with pupils that have SEND needs inclusive of Autism, ADHD, ASC and Challenging Behaviour.

As a supply teacher, you will be able to step into different classroom environments, quickly establish expectations, and deliver engaging lessons that maintain continuity of learning.

Key Responsibilities
