Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Primary Supply Teacher to work across Brentwood's welcoming primary schools. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classrooms and adapt quickly to different school environments.

You must hold QTS or be an Early Career Teacher, have experience in UK primary settings, and demonstrate strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum, with excellent behaviour management. This flexible day-to-day role offers competitive daily rates (£140-£180) and opportunities

The successful Primary Supply Teacher will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining high standards of behaviour, creating an engaging learning environment, and ensuring pupils continue to make progress in the absence of their class teacher.

The successful Primary Supply Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Experience teaching within a UK Primary School
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
• A positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to teaching
