Are you a dedicated Primary Supply Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Brigg?

Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Brigg
Pay Rate: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Primary Supply Teacher to work in primary schools across Brigg. This role is perfect for teachers who thrive in a dynamic setting, enjoy working with diverse student groups, and are committed to delivering high-quality education.

About the Role:

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for covering classes in the absence of permanent staff, maintaining pupil engagement, and delivering planned lessons. Your role will be vital in ensuring a smooth learning experience for pupils across key stages.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line across a range of primary year groups curriculum.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.
  • Use a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching approaches as necessary.
  • Foster positive behaviour management strategies to maintain a productive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and school leadership teams to enhance student learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress and development.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience as a Primary Supply Teacher in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging high-quality lessons.
  • Experience working with children of varying abilities, including those with SEN (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
  • Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
