Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Sheffield is seeking a Primary Step-Out Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to pupils who cannot access mainstream education due to SEN/SEMH needs.

You will travel to students' homes or suitable community settings, adapt sessions to individual needs, and build trusting relationships with pupils while liaising with schools and parents.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, with pay £25-£35 per hour depending on experience and assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN and/or SEMH.
• Primary teaching/tutoring experience is desirable.
• Patient, adaptable and confident working on a 1:1 basis.

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking Primary Step-Out Tutors to provide 1:1 tuition to children in Sheffield who are currently unable to access mainstream education due to SEN and/or SEMH needs.

The Role

• Travel to the pupil's home or an appropriate community setting, such as a local library.
• Adapt sessions to meet individual needs and abilities.

About You

• Primary teaching/tutoring experience is desirable.

• Able to travel between different pupils and work independently.

Pay£25-£35 per hour, depending on experience and the individual assignment.

Please note that the higher end of the pay range is based not only on experience and suitability, but also on the Local Authority's available budget for each pupil.
