Job summary

Springwood Primary School, part of The LINK Education Trust, is seeking Level 1 Teaching Assistants for a permanent role at the Craig Hall site. The school serves pupils with SEND aged 5-11 and is part of a multi-site, supportive environment.

The appointed TA1 will support primary pupils with complex needs, promote inclusive learning, work as part of a dedicated team and pursue ongoing professional development. Shortlisted candidates will attend a class task, ICT task and panel interview.

Qualifications

• Support primary age children with complex needs to achieve their potential.
• Promote inclusion and support to develop pupils with SEND or behaviour challenges.
• Work as part of a team to provide an appropriate learning environment.
• Be willing to learn new skills and participate in professional development.
• Previous experience with young people who may present challenging behaviour is advantageous.
