Polaris Education – Ormston School in Headingley, Leeds, seeks a Primary SEND Teacher on a full-time, term-time-only basis. The role involves delivering the primary curriculum to small classes (up to six pupils) with a Teaching Assistant, planning engaging lessons, and assessing pupil progress.

The successful candidate will have QTS, a relevant degree, and experience with primary pupils, with a focus on SEND.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the primary curriculum to small classes (up to six pupils) with a Teaching Assistant.
• Assess, monitor and report pupil progress.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual needs and promote high standards of achievement.
• Maintain secure subject knowledge and implement effective behaviour-management strategies.
