Job summary

Randstad Education is hiring a Primary SEND Teacher for Local SEN Schools in the Crawley area. Start date is immediate or next term with flexible full-time or part-time hours and weekly pay based on daily rates.

Lead a small, pupil-centred classroom delivering a highly creative, life-skills based curriculum. You will collaborate with SLTs, OT, and other specialists to support EHCP targets and foster inclusive progress for every child.

Qualifications

• Qualified Primary Teacher with SEND experience preferred.
• Experience with autism, PMLD, SLD or SEMH is advantageous.
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke, sensory-rich lessons aligned to individual EHCP targets.
• Lead small classes (typ. 6–10 pupils) with a team of LSAs/TAs.
• Collaborate with therapists and specialists to integrate goals into daily routines.
• Create a nurturing, structured learning environment focused on progression.
