Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Primary SEND Teacher for our specialist SEN settings in the UK. Full-time or Part-Time term-time roles with daily duties focusing on a child-centred curriculum and EHCP targets.

You will work with a team of Teaching Assistants in small classes (6-10 pupils), delivering sensory-rich, life-skills inspired lessons and adaptive communication approaches. QTS preferred, enhanced DBS, and safeguarding commitment.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience within a Primary setting (EYFS/KS1/KS2).
• Experience or interest in Autism (ASC), PMLD, SLD, or SEMH.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a child-centred curriculum adapted to EHCP targets.
• Lead a team of LSAs/TAs in a small class (6-10 pupils).
• Collaborate with therapists and specialists to support pupil progress.
• Ensure safeguarding and maintain a positive, low-arousal environment.
