Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for a SEN Tutor to support KS1 and KS2 students with SEN in Birtley. The role offers up to 15 hours per week, with pay of up to £30 per hour and a flexible schedule.

Start date ASAP; candidates should have right to work in the UK and be willing to obtain/enhance DBS clearance. The position involves 1:1 or small group sessions in Maths, English, and general learning support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting primary-aged children with SEN is ideal.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the child workforce (or willingness to apply).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small group tuition for KS1 & KS2 students with SEN.
• Adapt lessons in Maths and English to individual needs.
• Track progress and provide updates to parents/caregivers.
• Foster a safe, encouraging learning environment.
• Complete attendance and feedback reports as required.
