Job summary

New Chapter Tuition is seeking experienced Primary SEN Tutors or qualified teachers to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to KS1-KS2 learners with SEND. You'll work in learners' homes, schools, libraries and community settings, with term-time daytime hours.

You will assess and monitor progress, adapt teaching for ASC, ADHD, GDD and SLCN, using multisensory methods and planning time; DBS checks required; ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching KS1–KS2 children with SEND.
• Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, GDD and SLCN.
• Experience supporting verbal and non-verbal learners, including alternative communication methods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated KS1–KS2 Maths, English, phonics and early learning activities.
• Support learners with ASC, ADHD, GDD and SLCN.
• Adapt teaching for verbal and non-verbal learners using visual supports and multisensory approaches.
