Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking dedicated Primary SEN Teaching Assistants to work across schools within the Bath & Wells Multi-Academy Trust, serving Bath, Radstock, Frome and surrounding areas.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, help pupils access the curriculum, and support learners with SEN such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH and language difficulties.

We offer full-time, part-time, temporary, long-term and temp-to-perm opportunities with immediate start and pay £93–£110 per day PAYE.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school, nursery, education setting or with primary-aged children.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with pupils, teachers and parents.
• Genuine passion for helping children with additional needs and ability to remain patient and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Help pupils access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities.
• Support children with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and language delays.
• Support pupils with communication, social and emotional development.
• Help children build confidence, independence and life skills.
• Assist with classroom activities and targeted learning interventions.
• Promote a positive behaviour and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals.
