Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a qualified Primary SEN Teacher to join a specialist education setting in Cambridgeshire from January 2027. You will deliver inspiring, small‑group lessons to pupils with autism and a range of SEND, and plan inclusive,Creative learning that covers Art, Music, Drama and Food Technology across KS1/KS2.

You'll work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists and support staff to promote academic, social and emotional development, adapt learning to individual needs,

Qualifications

  • Must hold QTS and be registered to teach in England.
  • Experience with pupils on Autism Spectrum and SEND needed.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • CPD recent and relevant to SEND is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver structured lessons to small groups.
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Adapt lessons to meet individual needs and IEPs/EHCPs.
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists and support staff.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to progress reports.
