Job summary

Teach South in Worthing is seeking Primary SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming primary special school. Immediate start, with both full-time and part-time temporary contracts, offering hourly pay of £14.24–£14.35 while supporting pupils with additional learning needs—one-to-one, in pairs or in small groups.

You will help implement tailored learning plans alongside class teachers and the SEN team, fostering a safe, structured classroom where every child can thrive.

Qualifications

• Patience, strong communication, and adaptability are essential.
• Experience with children with SEN or in education/care settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1, 2:1 and in small groups.
• Implement tailored learning plans with class teachers and the SEN team.
• Create a safe, structured classroom environment and support personal care if required.
