Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Midsomer Norton is seeking enthusiastic Primary Educators to support pupils from September. You don’t need Qualified Teacher Status; experience in schools, childcare or youth work is welcome, and you can contribute to learning, relationships and energy in the classroom.

This is a flexible, long- or short-term role with opportunities across EYFS to KS2. You’ll deliver pre-planned lessons, work with class teachers, support groups, encourage positive behaviour and help

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN or SEMH is welcomed but not essential.
• Ability to support learning and build positive relationships with pupils.
• Comfortable delivering pre-planned lessons and activities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and activities when required.
• Working alongside class teachers to support learning and engagement.
• Supporting small groups and individual pupils.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom participation.
• Helping children build confidence, resilience and independence.
• Creating a fun, safe and positive learning environment.
