Job summary

Education People is seeking passionate Primary Teachers to join our trusted network of Somerset primary schools. Roles available across EYFS to KS2, with both full-time and part-time options, offering flexible placements.

You will deliver engaging lessons, differentiate for diverse abilities, and foster a safe, supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will have QTS/PGCE and a current DBS, with a calm, resilient approach to school life.

Qualifications

• QTS or PGCE or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• An up-to-date Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Calm, flexible and resilient approach to school life.
• Passion for supporting children's academic, social and emotional development.
• Excellent classroom management.
• Empathy and patience with a personable, trusting approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the primary age range.
• Differentiate and adapt teaching to meet needs of pupils, including those with SEN.
• Create a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
• Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
