Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Salford seeks a dedicated Primary SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their specialist SEN primary school this September. You will support pupils with ASC, ADHD, MLD/SLD, speech and language needs, and other needs, providing 1:1 and small-group support.

The role focuses on encouraging communication, social interaction and independence, collaborating with teachers, therapists and SEN staff, and helping pupils develop confidence and life skills in a safe, inclusive

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people is desirable.
• Patient, caring and positive attitude.
• Ability to adapt to individual student needs.
• SEN experience advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent teamwork and communication.

Teaching Personnel is working with a specialist SEN primary school in Salford seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team this September. You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), speech and language needs, sensory processing difficulties, and communication challenges.

This is a rewarding opportunity to help children develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills while supporting them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils.
