Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate, proactive, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils' learning in one of our inspirational Primary Schools in Morpeth on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and make a long-term, positive impact on their lives, progress, and development.

About the Role:

• Supporting pupils with diverse SEN and challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The SEN may include ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and PMLD.
• Delivering intervention sessions to small groups to enhance understanding and progress.
• Developing an understanding of different pupils' needs and learning styles, working closely with Class Teachers and colleagues.
• Supporting pupils during breaktimes and lunchtimes as needed.

• The role is based at an inspiring Primary School in Morpeth.
• Opportunities to support pupils from EYFS to Year 6, depending on experience and preference.
• The school fosters an outstanding supportive culture with a dedicated Leadership Team, promoting teamwork within classrooms to support pupils effectively.

Pay, Hours, and Contract:

• Full-time contract until July 2025, with a temporary status.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Location: Morpeth.

Experience/Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare qualification (preferred).
• Experience working with children in UK schools.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Resilient, proactive, and positive attitude.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional references from the last two years.
