Prospero Teaching is looking for passionate, proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support the learning of pupils in one of our inspirational Primary Schools in Ashington on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their lives, progress and development.

About the Role:

• The role involves supporting pupils with varied SEN and challenging behaviour on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Pupils may have ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, or PMLD.
• Deliver intervention sessions to small groups to enhance understanding and progress.
• Develop understanding of different pupils' needs and learning styles, working closely with Class Teachers and colleagues.
• Support pupils during breaktimes and lunchtimes as needed.

• Opportunities to support pupils from EYFS to Year 6, depending on experience and preference.

Experience/Qualifications and Requirements:

• Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare qualification (preferred).
• Experience working with children in UK schools.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Resilient, proactive, and positive attitude.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional references from the last two years.
