Job summary

North East Combined Authority in Tees Valley is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support pupils at Captain Cook Primary School. The role is part-time, 32.5 hours per week, term time only, with DBS and safeguarding requirements.

You will work across EYFS and KS1 supporting 1:1, small groups or whole-class activities, helping to raise learning outcomes while embodying the school ethos and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience across primary age range, specifically KS1.
• Able to support pupils 1:1, in groups or in class settings.
• Commitment to safeguarding and fostering positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in EYFS and KS1 to improve learning quality.
• Assist in delivering targeted activities and classroom support.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of pupils in line with policy.
