Job summary

The Education Specialists (TES) are recruiting on behalf of a Primary School in the Oldham area of OL16 to appoint a Teaching Assistant who can support a child in EYFS with additional needs. The role requires commitment to start once safeguarding checks are completed and enhanced DBS is in place.

Hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The school emphasises inclusivity and ongoing professional support from TES, offering flexible opportunities and APSCO-accredited recruitment practices.

Qualifications

• Experience working in schools or youth settings.
• Ability to implement behaviour strategies effectively.
• Support SEN pupils and promote independence within the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to complete set tasks in the classroom.
• Promote independence within the school environment.
• Support small groups under teacher direction.
• Implement behaviour strategies.
• Work with teachers and other TAs to provide a positive learning environment.
• Support SEN pupils.
• Supervise activities with pupils.
