Job summary

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Macclesfield from September on a full-time basis. The role supports pupils across key stages, assisting with lesson delivery, classroom preparation, and targeted learning support to help pupils reach their potential.

The ideal candidate will have experience with children and strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.

Qualifications

Experience working with children in school or similar setting.

Responsibilities

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Working with individual pupils and small groups to provide targeted learning support.
Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and learning activities.
Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back observations to teaching staff.
Supporting children with varying learning needs to ensure they can fully access the curriculum.
Supervising pupils during classroom activities, break times, and educational visits where required.
