TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a committed Primary Teacher for regular supply work across lovely primary schools in Newark and the NG24 area. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2, following plans, adapting activities as needed, and supporting pupils with SEND.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have UK primary teaching experience, strong KS1/KS2 knowledge, and excellent classroom management. DBS checked and available for flexible, reliable work sessions with weekly PAYE pay.

• Enhanced DBS registered on Update Service.
• Flexible, reliable and proactive in a school setting.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2.
• Follow lesson plans and adapt activities to pupils’ needs.
• Maintain a positive classroom with clear expectations.
• Support pupils with SEND within mainstream classrooms.
• Provide constructive feedback to the class teacher.

What does the role involve?

Delivering engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2.

Following lesson plans and adapting activities to meet pupils’ needs.

Maintaining a positive classroom with clear expectations.

Supporting pupils with SEND within mainstream classrooms.

Providing useful feedback to the class teacher.

Following each school’s safeguarding procedures and policies.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience teaching in UK primary schools.

Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.

Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.

A caring, enthusiastic approach and strong work ethic.

Excellent communication, reliability and flexibility.

An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
