Job summary

Veritas Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant / Welfare Assistant for a primary school in Lancaster. The role combines lunchtime welfare support with classroom-based TA duties, ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and supporting their development both in and out of the classroom.

The ideal candidate will have experience with primary-aged children, a patient and caring approach, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welfare duties during lunchtimes: supervising and supporting pupils.
• Assist Year 1 class teacher with learning activities.
• Provide individual and small-group support to pupils.
• Help pupils reach their full potential in a nurturing classroom environment.
