Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking multiple motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across several mainstream primary schools in the Farnham area. The role includes 1:1 or small group support in mainstream or SEN settings, with flexible part-time or full-time options and a typical daily rate around £93-£100.

The position starts September 2026, with 8:30-3:30 working hours and ongoing training, development, and dedicated consultant support through Teaching Personnel.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting students 1:1 or in small groups.
• Passion for education and student success.
• Strong communication with young learners.
• Willing to learn and develop new skills.
• Previous experience in education is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small group support in a resource base.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
• Support students with assigned work and encourage independence.
• Monitor progress and report concerns to the class teacher.
