Job summary

Brookfield Community School, part of Redhill Academy Trust, is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our busy school kitchen. You will help prepare and serve meals, maintain high hygiene standards and operate catering equipment safely.

This role offers flexible term-time hours and the opportunity to contribute to a welcoming dining experience for students and staff. Experience in catering and knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering environment and understanding of food hygiene and health and safety requirements.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Confident serving customers and operating a till.
