Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our pool for Primary and EYFS roles across Wakefield.

As an ECT you will gain diverse classroom experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, building confidence and teaching practice in welcoming schools. QTS or equivalent is required, with flexibility to work across year groups and support progression of pupil learning.

About the role

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to take the next step in your teaching career?

We are currently seeking dedicated and qualified Primary and EYFS Early Career Teachers to work across a wide range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Wakefield.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to gain valuable classroom experience, develop their teaching practice and build confidence in a variety of school environments. Whether you have recently completed your teacher training or are looking to gain further experience across different year groups, we can offer flexible opportunities to suit your career goals.

Working across different schools can provide you with valuable insight into a variety of teaching approaches, classroom environments and school settings, helping you to broaden your experience while continuing to develop as an effective and confident teacher.

You will have the opportunity to work within EYFS, KS1 and KS2, depending on your experience, preferences and the requirements of our schools.

Key Information
  • Salary: £120 - £150 per day (depending on experience)
  • Weekly pay

Role requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.

You will be able to demonstrate a passion for teaching and have the confidence to deliver lessons that engage and inspire pupils. You should also be able to work effectively as part of a wider school team and respond positively to feedback and guidance.
