Amblecote Primary School is seeking a motivated Cover Supervisor to join our nurturing community. The role involves supervising classes during short-term absence, delivering prepared activities, and helping maintain a positive learning environment.

You will support pupils to engage with their work, provide feedback to teachers, and model inclusive values. Experience with primary children and strong behaviour management are essential.

• Has experience of working with primary-aged children.
• Has excellent behaviour management skills and high expectations.
• Can confidently supervise and motivate groups of children.
• Has good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise whole classes during short-term absence delivering pre-prepared activities.
• Maintain a positive, orderly learning environment.
• Manage pupil behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
• Support pupils to engage with learning and complete set work.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil participation and progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and act as a role model.
• Support inclusion, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Contribute to wider life of the school including visits and enrichment.
