Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Primary PPA Teacher to cover in Sale and surrounding areas. The role focuses on delivering engaging lessons across EYFS and KS1, with a balance between teaching and planning tasks handled by schools.

Qualifications

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Recent UK classroom experience.
  • Experience teaching EYFS to KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of early reading, phonics and early maths.
  • Strong classroom management and organisation.
  • Ability to create a warm, engaging and purposeful learning environment.
  • Patient, adaptable and nurturing approach.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging learning across EYFS and KS1.
  • In EYFS, support learning through structured activities, continuous provision and purposeful play.
  • In KS1, deliver engaging lessons across phonics, English, maths and the wider curriculum.
  • Support children's communication, language, social and emotional development.
  • Establish consistent routines and positive behaviour expectations.
  • Adapt activities to meet different levels of development and ability.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and school staff.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Primary PPA Teacher - Sale

Location: Sale and surrounding areas within Trafford
Salary: GBP150 - GBP200 per day depending on experience
Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm
Contract: Full or part-time and temporary

We're looking for PPA Teachers to work on a supply basis in Sale and surrounding areas.

Primary PPA Teacher - responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning across EYFS and KS1.
  • In EYFS, support learning through structured activities, continuous provision and purposeful play.
  • In KS1, deliver engaging lessons across phonics, English, maths and the wider curriculum.
  • Support children's communication, language, social and emotional development.

Primary PPA Teacher - requirements

The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy.
